Cooper R. Nichols, PSC
Principal Scientist & Founder
Cooper R. Nichols, PSC is a Troy, AL native, who graduated from Auburn University with both Bachelor and Master's degrees in Soil Science. He currently resides in Pike Road, AL with his wife Lynlee and two sons, Warren and Riley. In 2014, Mr. Nichols founded Nichols Environmental Consulting, LLC (NEC) in Auburn, AL, for which he serves as President, Principal Scientist and a Professional Soil Classifier.

Our History
Since its inception, NEC has had the opportunity to successfully complete over 3,300 projects across diverse fields including Environmental, Soil Science and Geotechnical applications. With a diverse staff of scientists, engineers, field technicians and administrative staff, NEC continues to expand across the southeast, fostering long standing relationships with its clients and colleagues.
It is the sole goal of NEC to provide honest service to the public and promote responsible land use while generating technical guidance and scientific information for the betterment of the environment.
